Sew Much to DO
Sunday, November 14, 2010
Been to the Festival in Houston and the Quilts were wonderful. I have wanted to go for several years but never worked out. It has taken me several days to recover from the overload and the walking. Muscles still hurting! My Wish List got even longer. So many great things to see. My congratulations to all the winners and to the ones that did not win but had quilts displayed in the show. I would not have wanted to make the decisions the judges had to make.
Sew many quilts that I want to make – Sew many quilts waiting to be quilted. And sew many little projects that are wanting to be made. How many would like to join me in a challenge to complete at least one major project a month. I am going to try to dedicate one day a week to spend on one quilt until it is completed! I do believe I need your encouragement to stick to this goal. Putting it writing maybe will help.
If you have questions that I might be able to help you with, please feel free to send me an email
We now have 7 puppies (2 males and 5 female black and white Shih Tzus they are from 2 mommies and there are 3 in one litter and 4 in the other. They will be ready to go to new homes in time for Christmas and to give love and joy to another family. I will post some hotos next week when they are 3 and 4 weeks old.

Tuesday
Now through the end of this month there is a fantastic sale that I am having. Contact me for more information. Today I have spent most of the day creating a design for a badge for a friend who is really under the gun to have 75 of them sewn out and attached to ball caps by Thursday afternoon. It is always fun to help a friend in need and very rewarding. Will need to get permission to post a photo of the design!
Pre-paring to make an embroidered quilt as found in the current issue of Creative Expressions and Australian magazine from Jenny Haskins.
Hoping that I will be able to go to Houston for a couple of days for the Show – the Big show! We shall see if it is meant to be!
In the meantime I am working on designs to machine embroider pieces for another bear!
Til the next time Stitch a thread today. Sew much to sew, sew little time. Ah, for an extended day and shorter restful sleep to keep me going!
